As we do it every day, my mom started to think what snack she could cook for me and my sister. So she began to learn and do experiment. She managed to make some snack that later become my favorites. So because I treasure this relationship and I enjoyed every single time that we share in the kitchen, I began to fall in love in kitchen and dining room design. I want to put my attention to more detail in designing kitchen and dining.
I always think to put different color scheme for my kitchen and dining. It’s going to look like another something “Wow” in my house after living room.
I want people who come to my house will always surprise every time they are entering an area.
So i never think about having grey to blue shade for my living room, but for kitchen, I thought about that a lot. Blue is always gives us ‘clean’ and soothing feeling.
Instead having too many steel and modern look, I choose to have wooden and classy look.
This picture reminds me about my mom, she is a very calm, comforting and warm person. So I like the idea having more chairs on the serving table area. Because you and your family member, relative or friends can have an interesting conversation while you prepare dishes.
Darker blue cabinet will be additional leisure to your eyes, not just a cabinet to store your needs. The Blue hood continues the modern classic style in this kitchen. Glossy white brick tile add some british country style pampering your mood.
Open hanging shelves and hanging rod for cooking tools perfect for kitchen which doesn’t have big space to store. They will give you airy feeling.
I really like white, but I’m not a person who can make a good friend with it. Regardless to how clumsy I am in spilling many things I love this nook area. White painted wood floor bring every white furniture blend perfectly yet showing the other color proudly.
Hanging lamp shade in the middle of the table steals the look. Long country bench looks comfort with warm grey seat cushion. I will definitely have a breakfast nook in my house and my mom’s. She will love to invite more relatives to her house, so she won’t feel alone anymore.
Breakfast nook doesn’t have to be big. And it has to be informal. So you can star your day very lightly and chesrrish the afternoon with warm in this nook.
I love this nook a lot. A country style chair and a coushion seeter will add soothing fell for your coffe or tea. The space is just perfect for little chit chat. Wrought iron chandelier and white mirror frame keep the nook more pleasant. So your nook is not a neglected part of the house.
Since a coffee and tea are a ‘must’ for ‘break’ activity, why don’t you take the colour of these beverages to be your color scheme for your nook. Warm tone colour like grey, ivory and brown delight space for resting area.
Random picture frames alert that a formality is forbidden in this area yet bring all the good memories back. Put more throw pillow to the cushion seeter, and ‘Walaaa’, a place that more relaxing than a country coffee shop that was your favorite place to hangout.
For the main dining area, I still aim for a classic glamour style that will have strong color. Like this dining area. Dark lavender wall voluntarily became a canvas for other element. A Framed earth crack painting break intimidates potential color and adds something to catch the eye.
Golden chair and brown cushion let the zebra table clothes take a stand in this room while the chandelier do its part to give the classic and elegant signature.
Probably I will fight with my future husband because of this amazing area that has been become my dream since I know pink color.
This dining room is ‘to die for’. I will give anything to have a dining room like this. Shocking pink color never dies. A princess color is not always for immature girl, pink color is for a female with a crown. So combine with black leather and gold frame Regency chair, you will never forget every meal you have in this room.
Wood paneling for below part of the wall adding warm dimension and offer you a France Empire looking to the room.
Golden Sunburst wall ornament and golden frame paintings proof that pink color suit for glamour style. And when you put it randomly, you won’t feel like you have to wear the Ball gown every time you want to have a meal.
So I promise I will learn to cook more….let’s bring the fine dining back to our home.
